Day 1 : Mexico.
Welcome to Mexico! Transfer to your hotel and free time.
Day 2 : Mexico City.- Sightseeing tour of Mexico City.
After that a trans- fer to the Basilica of Guadalupe. In the afternoon in Xochimilco we will take a ride on a ¨trajinera¨, boats festooned with flowers. Evening transfer to the lively Plaza de Garibaldi with dinner included.
Day 3 : Mexico- Teotihuacan- Cholula- Puebla.
We leave for Teotihuacan to visit the archaeologi- cal site of this ancient flourishing pre-Hispanic city, where we will admire its pyramids. We continue to Cholula, a pre-Hispanic and colonial ¨magical town.¨ Time in Puebla to see its active main square and great cathedral.
Day 4 : Puebla- Monte Alban- Oaxaca.
We travel to Oaxaca. Arrival in the afternoon and sightseeing tour of this impressive city of Aztec origin. Entry and visit of the Monte Alban site, the greatest of the Zapotec cities located in the valley of Oaxaca. Return to Oaxaca and free time.
Day 5 : Oaxaca- San Pablo Villa de Mitla- Tuxtla.
Amidst mountainous landscapes and small towns we arrive to the ¨Magical Town¨ of San Pablo Villa de Mitla. We continue through the sierra of Oaxaca. Lunch included. Arrival in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, capital of the state of Chiapas. With the guide we will go to listen to a group playing the marimba live.
Day 6 : Tuxtla- Sumidero Canyon- Chiapa del Corzo- Zinacantan- San Juan de Chamula- San Cristobal.
In the Sumidero Canyon we will take a boat to navi- gate through the impressive canyon. A walk through Chiapa del Corzo. Later we will enter the towns of Zinacantan and San Juan de Chamula with a strong tradition of Mayan culture. Arrival in San Cristobal de las Casas, a beautiful colonial city. Free time.
Day 7 : San Cristobal- Ocosingo- Agua Azul- Misol Ha- Palenque.
We will travel through mountainous landscapes in the interior of Chiapas, in traditional areas inhab- ited by Mayan communities. We will make a stop in Ocosingo. After that, entry into the Agua Azul National Park. Lunch included. We will walk among waterfalls in Misol Ha. Continuation to Palenque. Dinner included.
Day 8 : Palenque - Campeche.
We explore the impressive archaeological site of the Mayan city of Palenque. After that we travel to the Gulf of Mexico through the state of Tabasco. Arrival in Campeche, the Mexican port city known for its colonial buildings and large fortifications. Dinner included.
Day 9 : Campeche- Merida.
We leave for the state of Yucatán. Arrival in Merida and sightseeing tour of the state capital with a rich colonial and Mayan heritage. Free time in the after- noon. In the evening we include a transfer to attend the ¨Sacred Stones¨ sound and light show.
Day 10 : Merida- Izamal- Chichen Itzá- Rio Lagartos.-
Today we will visit the State of Yucatán. We will make the first stop in the ¨magical town¨ of Izamal. We will visit the most important vestige of the Mayan civilization, Chichen Itzá. Typical Mayan lunch included. After that, we travel to the fishing village and Biosphere Reserve Rio Lagartos.
Day 11 : Rio Lagartos- Valladolid- Cenote Choj Ha- Cancun.
In the morning we take a boat trip entering the nature of mangroves and birds. After that we travel to Valladolid with its pleasant historic center. In the afternoon we will visit the Choj Ha cenote with its jungle, dry cave and its interior lake of a humid cave. Arrival at the end of the day in Cancun.
Day 12 : Cancun.-
After breakfast end of services.
