Day 1 : Lisbon.
Welcome. Transfer to the hotel and free time.
Day 2 : Lisbon.
City tour of Lisbon, the beautiful Portuguese capital of the hills, the tiles and the Atlantic. In the evening return to the hotel.
Day 3 : Lisboa - Lagos - Cape St. Vincent - Algarve.
We leave for the Algarve, a region in the south of Portugal. We will visit Lagos, the city full of history and beauty. We will follow to Cape St Vincent, the westernmost point of Europe. Time to enjoy the coastal city of Albufeira.
Day 4 : Algarve - Beja - Mertola - Evora.
We will visit the museum-town on the cliffs of Mértola in the Alentejo. We continue to Beja, one of the oldest cities in the country with a great fortress. In Evora, a heritage city, we will have a pleasant walk. We include entrance to the Chapel of Bones.
Day 5 : Évora - Marvao - Castelo da Vide - Tomar - Fatima.
We will make a stop in the walled town of Marvao. In Castelo de Vide we will have a walk through its castle and old Jewish quarter. In Tomar we will enter the Templar castle-convent of Christ. Brief stop in Ajustrel and arrival in Fatima, where we will have time to see the Sanctuary or the candle procession, if it is celebrated. Dinner included.
Day 6 : Fatima - Porto.
We travel to the north of Portugal. Arrival in Porto with a city tour included and a visit to one of its old wineries. Free time afterwards.
Day 7 : Porto - Braga - Bom Jesus - Guimaraes - Pinhao - Coimbra.
We continue through the north of Portugal to Braga, its religious capital. We will take a cable car to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesús. Time to get to know Guimaraes. Between vineyards we pass through Sabrosa before taking a cruise along the Douro River. Coimbra, dinner included.
Day 8 : Coimbra- Batalha- Nazaré- Óbidos Lisbon.
Time in the beautiful university city of Coimbra. After that entrance included in the Batalha Monastery, a World Heritage Site. In Nazaré, a fishing and seaside town, we include the elevator to enjoy the views. We will make a stop in Obidos, one of the most beautiful towns in Portugal. Arrival in Lisbon in the evening.
Day 9 : Lisbon.
After breakfast, end of our services.
